Arte en Castel Sant’Angelo

Aspecto de la decoración de una de las salas interiores del Castel Sant’Angel en Roma, con el motivo del arcángel San Miguel. Particularmente entre 1542 y 1543, bajo los auspicios del papa Paolo III Farnese, la residencia conoció su máximo esplendor, con el trabajo arquitéctonico y artístico de Rafael de Montelupo (1504/5 – 1566/7) destacado alumno de Michelangelo. Cuando se visita el Castillo, jamás olvidar elevar la mirada.
